Three racists on 19 December 2010 in Magdeburg, near the tram stop chestnut street a man from Ecuador insulted and beat him. The perpetrators also attacked the two companions of the 24-year-old victim - a German and a Mexican - at as they tried to help the attacked. The Ecuadorians had a broken nose and multiple lacerations are treated in a hospital. The Mexican woman was slightly injured. Police arrested three suspects after the crime at the age of 18 established, 21 and 23 years. Since 4 March 2011, four men have to answer before the District Court of Magdeburg for grievous bodily harm. Two of the defendants are not to start process appeared in court and are wanted by the police, by a warrant.
